About Dental Restorations
At Bespoke Dental, we offer a range of dental materials to restore teeth. For more advanced cases we layer the fillings to restore the tooth to mimic natural anatomy. Fillings are made up of a combination of materials used to repair or restore your teeth. We are an Amalgam free practice and do not provide the traditional silver filling.
One of the most common types of filling used today is a composite restoration. Composites are tooth coloured and come in a variety of strengths and aesthetic finishes. These fillings can be used to treat dental decay, rebuild broken or fractured teeth or improve the cosmetic appearance. They bond to the tooth with unique adhesive properties and tend to be the first choice of dental restoration in modern day dentistry.
Lab Made Restorations are an alternative and superior choice to restore teeth. Once the Cosmetic Dentist has removed the dental decay, shaped and prepared the cavity a digital intraoral scan is taken allowing you to then choose from ceramic or Gold inlays which are cemented into the tooth. Inlays provide a great solution where extra strength is required or more reliable shape and anatomy.
Book your consultation with our Cosmetic Dentists to explore the different methods and approaches to restoring your teeth. Treatments can be staged to suit your preferences and if you are anxious about treatment, please speak to us about our sedation service.

Answer
A filling restores a tooth by closing a cavity or repairing a tooth fracture, bringing it back to its original condition.
Dental restorations crafted through a digital process use high-strength materials milled with precision CAD-CAM technology. This approach enables restorations to be cemented within or onto the tooth, providing a more refined appearance and enhanced durability.
This will vary based on the treatment(s) you receive. Most facial aesthetics procedures have minimal or no downtime, but your clinician should always clarify what to expect post-treatment to ensure it aligns with your schedule. We might suggest avoiding makeup for 12 to 24 hours after certain treatments, so you may want to plan these on a day when you don’t mind going without makeup.
All materials used have fantastic properties. It will vary depending on the tooth condition and its position in the mouth. Dental materials improve year on year and following a specialised consultation the right material is selected to meet your expectations whilst ensuring longevity and cosmetic appeal.
